Dear Members, Dear insurance lawyers,
Now that the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) is in force for almost five years, AIDA and ALJB are proposing to analyse its present implementation and future evolutions.
We are privileged to hear the views of both the Luxembourg and European supervisory authorities, in a discussion that will be moderated by a former regulator and present global insurance regulatory leader.
The subject will be introduced by Mr Anthony DAULT.
Our moderator, Mr Carlos MONTALVO, will then analyse the current framework from three dimensions (regulation, supervision and business reality), engaging with the speakers to provide their views from a Luxembourg and European perspectives.
During the event, Mr Thierry FLAMAND will also present data collected by the CAA in 2022 in relation to conduct.
Mr David COWAN will give us the perspective of the European regulator.
